Association: Russia's fertilizer exports seen at '21 level in '23
MOSCOW, Dec 27 (PRIME) -- Russia may raise mineral fertilizer production and exports to the level of 2021 in 2023, President of the Russian Fertilizers Producers Association (RFPA) Andrei Guryev said on Wednesday.
"If the current loading of factory capacities remains, we expect to achieve the figures of 2021 of 59 million tonnes at the end of the year," Guryev said referring to the output.
The official also said that if loading remains in 2024, the output can rise by up to 10% on the year to more than 64 million tonnes. In January–November 2023, it amounted to more than 53 million tonnes rising 9% on the year.
The share of shipments to the friendly states stood at 75% in 2023 after 70% in 2022.
